God With Us, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates godwithusmovie.com (the “Site”), the official website for the motion picture God With Us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Ticket alerts and updates. When you sign up for updates, we collect your first name, last name, email address and zip code.
- Group ticket requests. When you submit the Group Sales form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, zip code, phone number (optional), and your preferred theater, date, showtime and number of seats.
- Messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies:
- Essential: the Group Sales page uses a session cookie to keep the form secure and working while you fill it out. It is deleted when you close your browser.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser used, and the general location (city or region) of visitors.
- Advertising: we use the Meta Pixel (from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram) to measure how our ads perform and to show ads about God With Us to people who have visited the Site. The pixel records events such as page views and may be linked by Meta to your Facebook or Instagram account.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send you news, ticket alerts and updates about God With Us that you asked to receive.
- To respond to group ticket requests and help arrange group screenings.
- To understand where interest in the film is coming from (for example, by zip code) so we can plan screenings and promotions.
- To answer your questions and messages.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site, and to prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
- To measure visits to the Site and the performance of our advertising, and to show ads about God With Us on other websites and apps, including Facebook and Instagram.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described below:
- Service providers who help us run the Site and our communications, such as our email marketing provider (Kit), Google (Google Sheets, used to organize group ticket requests), and our website hosting provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Analytics and advertising partners: Google (Google Analytics) and Meta (the Meta Pixel) receive information about your use of the Site, such as pages viewed, your IP address and device and browser details, through the cookies and pixels described above. They use it under their own privacy policies, including to provide measurement and advertising services.
- Theaters, ticketing and distribution partners, when needed to arrange group tickets or screenings you have requested.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of God With Us, LLC, our users or others.
- Business transfers, if the Site or our business is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
4. Third-Party Content and Links
The Site embeds videos from YouTube and loads fonts and scripts from services such as Google Fonts, Google Analytics, Meta and jsDelivr. When you play a video or load these resources, those companies may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies. The Site also links to our social media pages on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
5. Email Communications
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email we send, or by contacting us. If you submit a group ticket request, we may still contact you about that request.
6. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as the release and promotion of the film, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
7. How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
Cookies, analytics and ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, although the Group Sales form needs its session cookie. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook ad preferences. You can also learn about opting out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
California residents. Under California law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion or correction of your information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Our use of the Meta Pixel may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out of this sharing by contacting us at the address below, by using the opt-out tools above, or by turning on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser.
Do Not Track. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, so the Site does not currently respond to them. See the options above to limit analytics and advertising cookies.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Visitors Outside the United States
The Site is operated in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
